Kyla Culbertson: Past Intern (2019-2020)

Kyla Culbertson is a ceramic artist from Canton, Illinois. She received her BFA with an emphasis in ceramics from Western Illinois University in 2017 and a post-baccalaureate in ceramics from the University of Iowa in 2019. She has exhibited her work regionally and nationally in exhibitions around the United States. She was recently awarded as a 2019 ​Ceramics Monthly Emerging Artist and you can see more of her work on her website.

Adam Fulwiler

Adam Fulwiler: Past Intern (June 2018-2019)

Adam Fulwiler is an artist from Green Bay, Wisconsin and received his BA with an emphasis in painting from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in 2017. Fulwiler's work has a strong interest in formalism, geometry, and abstraction. His paintings make an effort to forge links between the organic and geometric, while at the same time translating personal conversations into visual marks. He plans to attend graduate school to receive his MFA in painting in the coming years. You can see Adam’s work on his website.

Nicole Woodard

Nicole Woodard: Past Intern (June 2017-2018)

Nicole Woodard is an artist from southeastern Wisconsin. She received her BFA with an emphasis in ceramics from the Peck School of the Arts at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 2017. Her ceramic work focuses on creating figurative sculptures, but she also likes to make functional wares for everyday use. In her free time, Nicole works on her artwork, loves to travel, and enjoys a good cup of coffee and custard. She looks forward to pursuing her MFA in ceramics in the coming years. Kara Slamka: Past Intern (June 2015-2017)

Kara Slamka received her BFA from UW-Whitewater - Loves coffee, cats and good music - currently in love with Algoma, WI. Kara is interested in the growth, the constant change of life, the influx of known and unknown ideas, the positive and negative growth, the ways we are different, the ways were are the same- what life was and what life is. You can see her work on her website.

Alexandria Wilbur: Past Inter (Summer 2016)

Ally is an Appleton-based artist who likes playing with fire. Her mediums of choice range from charcoal and oils to gunpowder, gold, and insects. Graduating from Ripon College in 2017 with a degree in studio art and English, she has since been experimenting with new ways of mark-making and provoking a response from her viewers through words and imagery. Particularly working with fire- a medium that cannot be controlled, only manipulated. You can see her work at www.allywilber.com

Blair Wautlet: Past Intern (Summer2015)

Blair Wautlet was born and raised in Algoma, WI. Growing up, she was introduced to art by her mother and stepfather, who always encouraged her to be creative. She attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design for Foundations Studies before transferring to the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. There, she is pursuing a BBA in Business Management and BA in Studio Art with an emphasis in painting. Her interests are in abstract painting and experimental mediums. Maggie Brzezinski - Past Intern (Summer 2015)

After a stint of wandering the highlands in search of a career path and a good cuppa, Maggie returned to the Midwest to pursue a degree in graphic design. When she's not in her snuggie working on the computer, Maggie can often be found knitting, making wine slushies and drinking an ungodly amount of coffee. Her end goal is to become a designer in the area, or start an alpaca farm. Whichever comes first.
